Patriots and Eagles Meet Again After 14 Years

It’s official. The New England Patriots will be facing the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LII.

In Sunday’s conference championship games, predictions were torn on who would come out victorious. Most thought the injury to Tom Brady’s hand would be enough to knock the quarterback down, but he emerged victorious against the Jacksonville Jaguars 24-20. Later, the Eagles went on to face the Minnesota Vikings, and it was Nick Foles’ sharp arm that completed the three touchdowns to inevitably stop the Vikings 38-7.

This is the first time the Eagles and Patriots have seen each other in the post season since Super Bowl XXXIX, where the Eagles fell to the Patriots 24-21. 14-years later, Eagles fans are ready for a rematch.

Super Bowl will take place Sunday, February 4th at 6:30 p.m. ET. This year it will be hosted at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN.
