The Minnessota Vikings have announced that Sam Bradford will be active and back up to Case Keenum on Sundays’ Divisional Round game versus the New Orleans Saints.
Bradford had been out the game since week 5 due to a knee injury. He was officially cleared and returned to the field on Saturday
The return of Bradford means Teddy Bridgewater will have to sit this one out. He has been marked inactive for the game.
Minnesota believes Bradford will be a better back up to Keenum than Bridgewater for the Saints game, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.
Decisions for the Vikings’ QB will have to be made in the off season, since none their top QBs will be under contract in 2018. The Vikings will be facing the Saints at 5pm ET on Sunday.
